Jeanne, joined by KJ from The Warped View on KBJB, had a reoccurring topic - narcissism - affecting women negatively and in abuse situations. We lose our power and give it away. We self-loathe - talk bad about ourselves - I look bad, I can't do this or that. As we do this we invite others to take our power, take control from us. Narcissist - these are the people who take our power and ultimately abuse the person verbally and sometimes physically, creating a toxic relationship. Narcissism is the pursuit of gratification from the vanity or egotistic admiration of one's own attributes. The term originated from Greek mythology, where the young Narcissus fell in love with his own image reflected in a pool of water. Jeanne stresses self love to take the power back, listen to your intuition, rock your Goddess self! A journal is a great tool to differentiate between your mind and heart, to hear your intuitive voice and then hear your spirit voice/tone. Please check out SarahJWebb.com. She has great works on freeing yourself from the Narcissist. Jeanne has been helping abused women and allow them to break free of a narcissist or toxic person. Jeanne and KJ discuss the importance of growing your circle of support, giving and getting empowerment.
Jeanne had callers lining up early tonight. Beth, our first caller, wanted to connect to see who she was on the other side. Jeanne helped Beth connect to her father and her husband. Jeanne saw cardinals all around her as signs of her loved ones. Julianne, from Atlanta, called to connect with her mother and father. Julianne has been listening to the podcast and recently purchased Jeanne's book "The Goddess You". Money?! A few tears shed at the end so a must listen! Kelly, from Connecticut, called to reach out to her mother who crossed over 8 years ago. Kelly received a lot of positive confirmation it was her mother. Kelly has her own gift Jeanne told her to work on and refine to produce amazing things. Jeanne and Kelly talked about how her mother knew about her daughter. Steve from Omaha wanted to connect to his grandfather who served in World War II. Steve wanted to see if he could get more information about what happened to Don causing a severe injury. His grandfather Don did not like to discuss it when he was alive.
